Pros

The culture and the people are my favorite thing about Databricks, you work in a high paced environment where there is constant change but having amazing people around you and a culture that embraces community makes Databricks unique. Flexibility at Databricks to run your own business as an AE is something that I love. I am a highly motivated seller than needs little guidance and to have a company support me in the way that works for me is fantastic. Databricks is on the cutting edge of technology, being able to learn about this product and segment while being at one of the market leaders is the space is refreshing. Comp allows upside that is tied to performance and the consumption based model levels provide a bit of stability and steadier cashflows compared to other commission based models that are purely based off selling.

Cons

High paced can mean long hours, demanding output in a deadline driven world. Having processes change frequently contributes more to additional work and hours that need to be put in.
