Pros

very dynamic place where achievements are recognized and celebrated. Great product and engineering + PM teams. international, open, diversity. Very curious and engaged colleagues in all aspects of the industry.

Cons

finding work life balance can be a challenge and the company at times moves so fast (growth, processes, product, ...) that it feels like it's tripping over its own (hyper-ambitious) legs.

Pros

- Great Work Culture, will always keep you toes when it comes to the consultation for Data & AI - Helpful people and no one underestimates anyone, treats everyone equally. - Field Engineering & Professional Services is really strong & knows how to solve their customers problem. - Good communication channels between FE teams, customers & product. - Good Salary & good perks, basically whatever it takes to keep an employee motivated & happy. - Good Work/Life Balance, Individual Contributor so basically you're your own boss and you bill the customer directly. Project Managers & Engagement Managers are also helpful in managing the workloads.

Cons

- Some Products are too much of an overkill like DLT or DAB. Sometimes it seems that there is less intervention from the Field engineering on Product as to what has to be delivered or is an ask for a customer? - Regional Politics, common scenario but still it happens in Databricks. Central EMEA folks will not like the solutions of Northern EMEA and vice versa. Sometimes put us in jeoprady & really hard to tell who is what? - Sometimes there are monotonous engagements which looks like you're not going anywhere with your career. Like you could be doing CI/CD for customers and be with it.
