Pros

Databricks is one of the best organizations that I have been a part of. The perks and benefits that are definitely one of the best that you would see out there. Apart from this the most important to me is the work culture and the people. The people and the management at Databricks are very supportive and are always there to help, guide and support whenever needed. Hiring for my business teams here at Databricks I have felt that sense of being one team with your business which makes it such a cohesive partnership and an amazing experience for me.

Cons

Some of the processes are still shaping up in certain regions so one might need to ask around sometimes for certain aspects. But I am sure its just a matter of time, the way Databricks has been growing and has been a super employee centric company throughout its journey this too shall be seamless soon enough.

Pros

It's simply an awesome company! To elaborate a bit more: Cutting-edge technology: Databricks is a leading company in the field of cloud-based data analytics. Employees can work with some of the most innovative and advanced technologies in the industry. Collaborative work environment: Databricks values collaboration and teamwork, and employees can work with talented and driven individuals from various backgrounds and disciplines. Growth opportunities: Databricks is a rapidly growing company, and employees can take on new challenges and responsibilities as the company expands. Focus on innovation: Databricks encourages employees to think creatively and develop new ideas and solutions. The company invests heavily in research and development to stay at the forefront of the industry. Emphasis on work-life balance: Databricks recognises the importance of a healthy work-life balance and provides flexible work arrangements to help employees achieve this. Strong culture: Databricks has a strong culture that values diversity, inclusion, and respect, and the company is committed to creating a welcoming and supportive work environment for all employees. Mission-driven: Databricks is dedicated to making data-driven decision-making accessible to everyone, and employees can work on projects that positively impact the world. Diversity. I barely have seen a company which is as diverse as Databricks.

Cons

As with any company, there can be downsides to working at Databricks. Some potential drawbacks include the following: Fast-paced environment: Databricks is a rapidly growing company, and the work environment can be fast-paced and demanding, which may only be suitable for some. Remote work: While remote work can benefit some employees, it can also present challenges, such as a lack of in-person interaction with colleagues and difficulty maintaining a work-life balance. High expectations: Databricks has high expectations for its employees, and the company can be demanding in terms of workload and performance. Changing priorities: With a fast-paced environment and rapid growth, the company's priorities and focus can change quickly, which can be challenging for employees. It's essential to remember that every company has unique challenges and benefits, and the downsides listed above may not apply to every individual or department at Databricks.

Pros

* A company full of wicked smart yet humble folks, great collaborative spirit, lots of contagious enthusiasm * Extremely transparent, truth seeking, bias for action culture - so many ways and opportunities to make your mark * So many interesting and unique technical, business, and customer challenges that come with working on a large-scale data platform - you will never be bored, and if you are, there's always something else to work on

Cons

* The product itself is moving fast, changes can be overwhelming, knowledge management is a neverending game of whack-a-mole * A ton of organizational growing pains as we've gone from 500 to 5,000 employees, sometimes overly vague reorgs, shifting career ladders, false starts at some programmatic rigor, I expect this to continue as we grow
