Pros

- You have a lot of resources and support to solve problems; I have rarely felt held back by red tape - Engineering partners are some of the best I've ever had as a PM. The engineers here tend to be good product thinkers. - Colleagues are so positive and supportive - Work is interesting and engaging - Leaders give you space to solve the problems - People are incredibly smart. I have learned a lot here in a short amount of time

Cons

- Problems can be a bit undefined; you must be ok with ambiguity - OKRs and various processes can be a bit hectic. No one seems to love them (though I've been through much much worse) - There is a lot of context switching due to the fast pace of the environment. - The company is weirdly buttoned up - and I'm not saying dress code, it's just that communication is very formal at times I don't know if any of these are "cons" objectively, just thing you'd want to be ready to handle.

Pros

There are tons of smart, thoughtful people working at datadog. The product is complex so the problems are very interesting. there is always a lot to do and a lot to learn.

Cons

As the company grows its normal for priorities to shift toward keeping shareholders and big customers happy. I sometimes think that can hamper innovation, despite ultimately being good for business.
