The concerns you raise about culture changes are ones we take seriously - we encourage you to bring these directly to your manager and/or People Business Partner so we can maintain the strong Datadog culture we currently have.

Pros

Great package overall! Offices are unique locations, and the vibe is great at the office. The colleagues are amazing. Learning and development within Datadog is very well structured and help you grow in our careers

Cons

Extremely childish culture. It feels like managers take care of a bunch of kids. Not a fan of the culture within the sales department for that reason. Plus targets are the same worldwide with no reason, resulting in certain markets making bank and others being a struggle. The 1:3 (1 sdr for 3 AE) slpit ratio is completely off, leading to AE only doing an SDR job at this point. A 1:1 or 1:2 split would be best in this economy. Never saw culture or values being put in action/put to use

We're glad to hear that overall you are enjoying your experience with us, particularly our career growth opportunities and working alongside your colleagues. However, we're sorry to hear the concerns that you've raised as well. Sales Development Representatives are vital contributors to our company success and we want to make sure all Datadogs feel supported to do their best work. We encourage you to bring these concerns to your People Business Partner so that we can understand this situation in greater detail.
