However, we do believe that a hybrid workplace experience is the best option to encourage the innovation and collaboration that happens in person.       Great people, strong ownership, growing pains

      Pros

      * People are helpful, friendly, and smart * My area of the company has good work/life balance (though this depends on team) * Company has a very strong brand and is a recognized leader in the space * You are allowed and expected to have strong ownership of your product area * Great autonomy - you can decide how to build your product

      Cons

      * Most teams have on-call rotation and some teams have a much bigger burden than others * Lots of things are in flux as the company has been growing quickly * Many responsibilities are pushed down to teams that really should be handled by common/infrastructure teams * Development can be slow because development infrastructure is lacking * Stock compensation depends on the market and in a downswing (like now), that can be brutal
