      A product you can get behind, but not the Datadog I knew 2 years ago

      Pros

      Product is incredible and the engineering organization is highly innovative - truly a leader in the market. Founders are humble and are people you want to stand behind.

      Cons

      Growing pains: the last 6-12 months have been a roller coaster of tried and failed processes. Struggle with retention and making employees feel valued - feels like they know that since they are a successful business everyone wants to work for them and they won't have hiring issues, making all current employees feel dispensable.

      Solid option for career starting point, stagnation afterwards

      + Fast growing and successful business, lots of customers w/ good relationships + High caliber IC engineers + Product minded CEO

      Cons

      - Limited growth opportunities, not a place for experienced PMs - Out of touch and profoundly arrogant senior leadership - Poor work life balance - Non-existent diversity - Insane amounts of dotted line reporting - Mid management micromanagers

We will continue to strive for an inclusive culture where diverse perspectives are considered and appreciated.
