      Pros

      Lots of talented, helpful people around. The leadership team is steering the company in great directions. The company is growing incredibly fast but still feels like a calm, organized, and fun place

      Cons

      The company is transitioning from being a startup to being a serious business. As mor structure is put in place it is sometime unevenly communicated. You are equally likely to encounter processes that have no systemic approach or a robust one. It's often part of the job to navigate this and learn the right way to get something done.

      Pros

      -A lot to accomplish means ability to stretch: I've done things here that will shape my career in the future -Products are top notch and disruptive, company is putting focus into staying ahead of the curve -We're moving into a new stage of our lifecycle as a company, so most of the risk of joining a startup is behind us, but with all of the same startup perks -There are some great leaders here that I've learned a lot from, and our CEO is incredibly transparent -Growing like crazy, this can be awesome if you're in a department where you can see a clear career path

      -Still some growing pains regarding org + how we change as we scale -If you joined to be in a startup environment, we're moving out of that phase of growth into an enterprise saas company -The crazy growth can be a con if you're not flexible and can't deal w change

      Cons

      Datadog is a very toxic place especially if you’re in a non-tech role where you are deprioritized and uncared for. Talent acquisition has terrible, selfish leaders who only care about themselves and pushing their teams past their limits. Your colleagues will backstab you again and again to gain preferential treatment. The leaders encourage this type of behavior and get excited and make jokes about it. Additionally,I It is an environment riddled with sexism and racism — is it not 2026? NYC at that? The lack of resources and support compared to engineering is astounding. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Many of the good reviews are fake or are by people who perpetuate the toxic culture. The only good thing is the stock options. Stay far away from this place!
