Honestly, its hard to highlight a positive as they are all outweighed by negatives.

Cons

For a tech company the infrastructure is way below average and the technology is outdated. Company structure is poor, and middle management make it increasingly difficult to do your job due to office politics. There is zero work life balance and you are constantly micro-managed. If you work in tech this is NOT the place for career progression, if you don't have a skillset and your job is to brown nose then you will flourish here!

Food, snacks are standard for tech startup, good selection.

Cons

CEO and executive team are heavily focused on image. This includes regular "pro-Dataminr" posts to Glassdoor to increase attractiveness of the company on this website - we are regularly encouraged to post positively and HR will coordinate. Lots of politics. Little transparency.

Great people, really nice atmosphere, scheduling in advance which with organising social life etc, compensation, free food, excellent management who are approachable and friendly. Excellent activities and everyone has an open mind! Work is super interesting and we're at the front of cutting edge technologies =

Cons

Night shifts are a pain but hopefully they reduce as we grow.
