Pros

-- A wonderfully diverse and smart team to work with every day. I love the DEs I work with and the whole office shares a real sense of camaraderie. -- We get to experience working at the cutting edge of breaking information, which is great for those with a love for news and current affairs. -- We help to create a product that has genuinely proven it can save lives. -- Solid perks/benefits. -- Since I started, our technology has improved out of sight. Recent advancements in our AI have been incredible. To be clear, as per the Cons below, no company is perfect and this is no exception. But I would say every day presents a new challenge, and not in a bad way. From what I have seen, the best performers are those who are willing to be flexible, try new things and come up with new ways to do things better. Unsurprisingly, those DEs are usually the ones that are promoted. I'm here because I love this job and the opportunity it provides.

Cons

-- Seattle hours are 15:00 - 23:00 and that is tough on anyone with a family, or wanting a social life. -- Communication needs to keep improving. DEs are not always kept entirely in the loop about what major changes are coming.
