Pros

Outstanding colleagues, meaningful work, free healthcare, free meals, TASC, and free snacks. You'd love it here if you thrive under pressure and like being challenged.

Cons

There were cons that emerged beginning of 2018 related to clear career-pathing, promotions, and time off. The leadership addressed these problems although I wish they addressed them earlier. Nevertheless, if you have been around you know many companies would not care and end up loosing everyone.

None. I you don't have the 'in your face' personality in order to advance within a company, don't come here. So much favoritism and bro-hood here that makes the environment toxic.

Pros

- Incredible product which is making a real difference for clients across the world - High calibre and diverse staff - As a company growing at incredible speed, lots of opportunities for career development (although like all small companies, many of these are not always visible - lots of new roles and management positions are being created as the company grows) - So many opportunities to learn and create....if you want to put the hours in (some do, some don't - there is very little pressure) - Innovation and hard-work that contribute to the company are rewarded heavily - Incredible perks - free lunch, great snacks, healthcare - Senior management seem to care about their people, although messaging and process is not always perfect

Cons

- Like any company that grows this quickly, staff do not always get the clarity they would get from big companies, but this is changing - Most staff are professional, hard-working and want to contribute; but some do appear to be in Dataminr solely for the good work-life balance - C-suite leadership not as visible as other Tech companies
