Providing balance, ensuring wellness and enabling opportunities for learning and development on an individual basis are critical priorities and paramount to our success as a team. We are dedicated to supporting health and wellness and have a wealth of resources available to you from meditation and yoga app reimbursement and discounted gym memberships to paid health insurance that generously covers therapy with a professional, and a confidential 24/7 hotline. Most importantly it is critical that we take advantage of the opportunities created to support each other and speak openly about the graphic content we sometimes see as tragic events unfold around the world. Your managers and the People Team are always available to you to continue the conversation.

Pros

-Decent benefits (fully paid healthcare, catered lunches/dinners, compensation if you negotiate) -Some really accomplished co-workers who are fun to be around -If you love Twitter and breaking news, this is the place to be

Cons

-For a start-up, my department is super hierarchical. -There is very little room for growth and advancement. Promotions and raises are not always commensurate with how much each individual contributes to the team. They seem to prioritize cultural fit and who is likely not to leave the company. -Management will often ask team members to do a 180 on work schedules. Scaling as a start-up is hard, but work/life balance is important. -Zero (!) engagement with CEO/CSO Conclusion: My experience has been somewhere in between the five-star reviews and one-star reviews.
