Pros

Opportunites to make a difference in an unstructured flat organization. Viewed highly for top tier service in each of the market segments.

Cons

Can be a good ole boys club, behind the times with technology and processes/procedures that would be standard in most organizations of similar size do not exist here.

Not a Long Term Option for Growth

Pros

Generally competitive salaries (hint: negotiate before being hired, they will not give merit raises), ability to gain varied experience if you are assertive.

Cons

No career track - There isn't much in the way of advancement for any group, Slow accrual of vacation - 2 wk/year until 5 years of service, Vacation is reset and you lose it if you don't use it, No merit raises (see above), Very high workload for everyone, High employee turnover, Frequent mass layoffs, bad overall company communication, each office acts as a separate company, outsourcing jobs to India
