Pros

Low expectations by the company, and mostly laid back atmosphere. Over-educated, underemployed staff.

Cons

Complete lack of leadership at the managerial level. Zero opportunity for professional growth. Poorly compensated. Culture of blame and finger pointing by management which demoralized, almost without exception, very employee I worked with.

A Good Minnesota based Global Company playing the Private Equity "game".

Pros

Most co-workers will be hardworking and very nice people The culture values long term workers The culture rewards hard working people Most managers are very trusting and flexible The salary and benefits are decent If you work in the "DataSite" business unit, you have a much better chance to survive layoffs and reorganizations.

Cons

C- Level execs are trying to attract new Private Equity investors so the business units are under a lot of pressure to make the company financials "look good" The facilities at this company are very subpar compared to other companies in this industry Some long term employees are way too comfortable and too lazy but loyal managers "protect" these employees out of sheer loyalty The PMO is weak and company does not have a strong "project" culture The business units have a lot of power and control (enterprise level positions have less control and influence)
