Pros

Although can be long days, if you like a fast pace physical job this is a great LTL company.

Cons

City drivers are expected to safely and efficiently unload thousands of pounds of freight and multiple stops (some very difficult). Relay drivers although run midnight hours make WAY more than city drivers who are the face and the reputation of Dayton Freight. I feel the disparity is way too much to justify.

Pros

Good insurance and you get all holidays off.

Cons

Not a lot of opportunity for advancement without transferring to a different dept.

Pros

M-F and weekends off, Early morning start so you have afternoons free, good pay, annual raise. Stright forward "easy" work.

Cons

No guarantee of hours. Part time, you could work 7 to 25 hrs a week, so if you need a budgetable income, you better have a second job. The company is owned and run by family but policy dictates family can not work at the same facility, even if they work completely different jobs
