Pros

Fast pace, loading and unloading of trucks. Performance based pay raises allow you to determine your own value. Company picnics from time to time are a nice bonus.

Cons

Open air dock makes for uncomfortable working conditions in the summer and winter. Management would get easily flustered when I worked there.

Pros

Cares about their employees, good benefits, family/team environment. Company continues to grow which creates great job security/new jobs for qualified individuals. Great profit sharing checks every quarter. The Cronin's have created a special company that goes above and beyond for their customers. Great company to start your career with.

Cons

Work/life balance is tough on the management side. Management should be paid more. Minimum of 50 hours/week and the hours make it difficult to maintain a good work/life balance. Part time/hourly employees complain too much when they are getting paid a lot of money. Limited advancement opportunities once you become a Terminal manager.
