Pros

Dead River Company's offers scheduling that works for my life. Part time employment comes with excellent benefits such as 401K, health & dental insurance, PTO, and holiday pay (when applicable) and a very good living wage. Fuel discounts on both LP and oil, as well which is an huge perk. Excellent support from management, specifically my direct supervisor. I feel heard and respected for the role that I play which is a huge personal plus for me.

Cons

This industry can be very intense during the winter heating season. By nature, literally, we can be deep in the slushy, icy challenges of our customer's immediate needs multiplied by storms, cold and wind. It's not for everyone, but it's for those who like a fast paced challenging experience.

We work hard and could incorporate a bit for FUN in what we do everyday.

Pros

This company gives a great work/home life balance which is so important. I have worked here for 7 years and love it!

Cons

The only con would be that there is a black out time for vacations in the winter months.
