Pros

Because the company is principally based in Europe, many of the managers and store directors have a more compassionate and trusting ethic towards their employees and their needs. This of course has obvious limits, but compared to other service sector and retail corporations there was definitely a healthier atmosphere. Also, we were given ample PTO, which many part-time workers in the U.S. aren't accustomed to receiving. They also paid us very slightly above minimum wage and were invested in retaining and promoting committed a workers (again relative to other companies).

Cons

Sometimes the store was not organized well and worker accountability could sometimes create workload asymmetries on the sales side.
