Pros

Very young team, team mates are very open and willing to help Easy to bond, everyone is very sporty and outgoing Good learning opportunities as a very wide breadth is covered, will learn a lot Very fast and agile, with a lot of autonomy to handle situations, work processes Good opportunity to enter the supply chain industry as they are one of the few companies willing to hire fresh graduates

Cons

Once you prove that you are able to perform well, leaders will pile you with so much workload while pay doesn’t change. there is a “side mission” project that leaders say is not compulsory and up to personal interest, but they don’t mention that if you don’t take it, your pay doesn’t increase. essentially breaking up full time roles into “side projects” for you to take on. especially true for locals and fresh graduates eager to prove themselves. On the other hand, some team mates and even leaders are always nowhere to be seen, can be unresponsive to emails, text messages, even deadlines for a few weeks/months with absolutely zero consequences. no side mission at all, and yet they are drawing higher salaries. Manager always like to preach that feedback is welcome, but once any kind of displeasures get voiced out, becomes super defensive and shuts down any kind of discussion. wants to receive feedback but unwilling to listen to criticisms. Also likes to blame Singaporeans for the mess that the entire department is in. Always saying stuff like “don’t be too Singaporean”, “please speak up” in department meetings. Blames high turnover rate on Singaporeans and the apparent “job hopping culture” here. Clear demonstration of favouritism from Manager when one of the leaders leaked sensitive information regarding the department when they uploaded their personal drive onto the shared drive. Investigation was launched, but instead of punishing the leader, they tried to cover it up and to push the blame on the people who accessed the file. Not sure if the leader got away scot free, but am inclined to believe so.
