Pros

I’ve been with the company for almost 2.5 years and have seen a lot of changes. Overall, I’ve learned many different skills and feel that management is open to feedback on how things can improve. No job is perfect, but I appreciate that when I feel overwhelmed, I’m able to take PTO and come back refreshed. On the technical team side, everyone I work with including my direct manager has been extremely helpful. It’s a collaborative environment where we can bring up daily issues, and when we discover bugs, we work with engineering to get them resolved. I also enjoy the fast-paced environment and the opportunity to troubleshoot, which keeps the work engaging and helps me continue growing.

Cons

Work can be overwhelming at times, but that’s expected in a fast-paced environment.

Pros

Working at Deep Sentinel has been an incredible experience, especially collaborating with our Senior Operations Manager, Directors, VPs, and cross-functional teams such as Sales & Channel, Customer Care, and Finance. Compared to my previous roles, the environment here stands out as truly supportive—both professionally and personally. Mental health, career growth, and personal well-being are genuinely valued. Most importantly, Deep Sentinel fosters a safe, inclusive, and LGBTQIA+ friendly culture, where everyone is respected regardless of gender, background, race, or religion. The company offers competitive compensation, strong benefits, and meaningful opportunities for career advancement. Upskilling is encouraged, and raises are merit-based. Leadership training is hands-on and inspiring, with leaders who generously share their knowledge and push us to grow beyond our comfort zones. I’m especially grateful to my manager for believing in me and continuously challenging me to reach my full potential. As a startup, Deep Sentinel has been a remarkable part of my journey—one that I will always value throughout my career.

Cons

While I’m grateful to work in a 100% remote setup, it's important to note that the workload can be intense, with high expectations from leadership. At times, the work can feel exhausting and even make you consider leaving. But then you realize—true growth happens here. Every challenge becomes a blessing in disguise, leading to genuine fulfillment. The performance standards are demanding, and consistently meeting or exceeding KPIs is essential. However, this also presents a valuable opportunity to build credibility, demonstrate integrity, and showcase the quality of your work on a consistent basis.

Pros

The environment has become more collaborative over time, and I’ve felt genuinely supported in my development. I’ve learned an incredible amount and grown in ways I didn’t know were possible. It’s a smart, mission-driven team that truly listens to employee feedback (even more so recently), and we’re seeing real changes because of it. Town halls are a fun highlight that help us feel connected, even while working remotely, and transparency is a big part of the culture.

Cons

When I first joined, departments felt pretty siloed. We've come a long way in improving that, so I hope we keep moving in that direction. I also think there’s an opportunity to invest more in wellness and work-life balance as we grow.
