      Could be one of the best!

      Pros

      It's a very laid back place to work. People are for the most part happy with their jobs. Pay is compensable with duties and there is an in house deli.

      Cons

      Could be one of the best places to work ever. However, there is no room for growth. You're pretty much stuck in a paygrade unless you decide to leave. There are way to many leaders and confusion as to who does what. Many sections are duplicating others and employees don't understand why. I hear major restructuring is taking place, but I dont know how that has panned out.

      Pros

      There are some extremely talented people in DMA. Honored to work with them. Workforce development works hard to create opportunities for employee growth.

      Cons

      There are some extremely self-serving employees at the HQ who ruin it for everyone. The organization is still fractured and the sense of direction isn't making it's way out of the component level.

      Nice building and easy commute

      Cons

      Very unprofessional environment. This place is plagued with poor leadership and folks that do not know how to effectively lead. Through bad management this agency lost $5.1 million dollars, which is a problem for a agency of this size. The unprofessionalism here is very troubling. I have seen a senior manager cuss out another manager in front of the employees. I have seen a manager scream at another employee at the top of his lungs. The stories can go on and on. I would not recommend working for this zoo.
