They continually under staff, which in turn adds up to a bad customer experience. They cram their customer service program down the employees throats but don't "walk the walk". They have a monopoly in the different National Parks and they know it. If guests are displeased and don't return, others are eager to replace them. Managers are expected to work 50+ hour work weeks are encouraged not to fraternize with their employees in spite of the fact that this is a small community in which all/most employees live in company housing and work in the same area. Managers seem to be required to take a course in micro managing.

The work hours are rough because many of the jobs are seasonal positions. The corporate office does not really understand what is happening in the field during prime seasons.
