Pros

Some Supportive Colleagues: you will get the privilege to work with few coworkers that are genuinely helpful, however the overall environment can feel lacking in consistent support from any leadership in the building. Rapid Skill Development: Employees are often expected to take on tasks far outside their job description, primarily to save the company money, even if their plates are already full. This allows for a very rapid growth in skills. This would be great for anyone wanting to add a large amount of skills to their resume quickly. Unfortunately for most, it often comes at the expense of work-life balance, with the constant expectation to juggle multiple roles without adequate compensation or recognition.

Cons

Uncompensated Overtime: Leadership frequently expects employees to work long hours without additional pay or compensation, leading to burnout and frustration. Toxic Leadership Behavior: A senior leader in the company has been observed making inappropriate comments, showing offensive videos, and yelling at employees. Many reports of degrading female employees and treating them disrespectfully. Unequal Treatment: Employees of different nationalities or women have reported receiving unequal pay compared to others in similar roles, highlighting potential issues with fairness and equity. Denied Benefits: Vacation requests are often denied without valid justification, and promised remote work days are frequently unavailable despite being part of company benefits. Disrespectful Exits: Employees providing a two-week notice are often immediately dismissed, leaving others to pick up the workload without proper transition or training. Inappropriate Workplace Behavior: Reports of a senior leader engaging in unprofessional behavior with young female employees, sharing inappropriate photos and videos, and making inappropriate jokes have created a culture of discomfort and unease. Unpredictable Environment: The workplace atmosphere is tense, with employees often walking on eggshells due to erratic leadership behavior and unpredictable moods. Unpaid Earned Vacation: The company does not pay out unused vacation time, even though employees earn it throughout the year, leaving many feeling undervalued. High-Cost Health Benefits: The health benefits offered are extremely expensive, costing nearly double what many other companies charge, making them burdensome for many employees

Pros

You will gain good insight to the defense industry. High turnover leads to increased responsibility (no increase, or little, in compensation).

Cons

Toxic environment, poor leadership, salaries under market value.
