      Large company with lots of resources and great products

      Cons

      Constant shifting around and reorganizing. Difficult to understand and use the cumbersome tools and processes. There is no such thing as realistic job security here and you can be laid off, even as a top performer. They say the company values people, but that's just not true.

      - Excellent benefits, particularly 401k match and healtchare - Competitive salary

      Cons

      - Long hours due to understaffed and poorly-trained teams - Abysmal IT and HR support. Anything outside my immediate role was a prodigious headache. - Constant threat of layoffs even during record performance, due to "cheap" company culture. Massive bonus payouts to directors and above while thinned teams were further cut. - Utter mess of systems and processes, bolted on and barely maintained year-after-year due to (again) cheapness of leadership. This is not a tech company -- it is an aging manufacturer. I had a complete mental breakdown due to this job, even as a top performer. Avoid unless you are willing to gut it out for your resume or the pay for a short period.
