      . Was a good company for Proff growth, later acquisition is changing things.. . Client Exposure . Nice campus.. again... things are changing.. . Was a fun place to work.. things are changing.. . All Perks removed...

      Cons

      . Bad food in cafeteria . Lot of emp friendly policies are removed. . A HUGE gap in lateral hired employees salary and existing emp.. . No fair hikes/promotion .

      Pros

      Company does have a good sense of business knowledge and support. Dell is also large enough to provide for almost any employees needs. Pay is above average and there is some opportunities for increases.

      Cons

      Dell is a company that is client base centric, so if they loose an account, you have a very strong chance of getting laid off.

      Pros

      Working in Field Services (not long after the acquisition of Perot Systems), I found the following to be true: Lots of opportunity Good investment in employees - opportunities for training and advancement on merit Managers that motivate their employees well and support them with constructive criticism Management willing to listen to front line technicians

      Cons

      Too tall of an organization chart - lots of tiers whose value isn't quite clear Change - lots of change Process - lots of process These two collide and what you're doing now is likely to change in the next six months. Personally, I like variety in my daily activities and generally embrace change, but there is such a thing as too much, and after awhile it can be distracting.
