      There are no positives I can share

      1. No promotions 2. Lack of management support 3. Lack of peer support 4. Lack of work/life balance 5. Lack of care 6. Way too much politics 7. Leadership Always looking out for themselves 8. Workforce reduction constantly 9. Constant restructuring 10. Poor to none job security 11. Constantly live in fear 12. There are no friends, watch your back 13. Selfish motives 14. Dell is only a name, don't let it fool you 15. The list is truly endless, I thought this was a place that would promote growth and it never happened, steer clear, you will thank me. Keep looking and don't work here!

      If you are friendly you’ll do well If you can build relationships you’ll do great It’s big and slow, so change isn’t their thing

      Cons

      They’re not results driven Pay is good on the management side but not on the IC side It’s a HR driven company not an engineering driven company They’re about 10 years behind in technology usage They’re answer to improve is layoff Way too too heavy at the VP and SVP layers

      Work from home, healthcare, big corporation perks - (fitness reimbursement), professional atmosphere, severance pay

      Cons

      Dell has been on a hiring freeze since basically 2020, in that time I got a promotion but wasn't able to get the pay increase, went through two major company reorganization/structure changes, and was relocated to new bosses around the globe and ultimately given responsibilities completely different from the job I applied for. After all of that, I was laid off due to my role becoming "redundant" but the business made it so.
