      Further engineering advacement limit one you reach senior engineer

      Stability and decent pay and benefits

      Cons

      There are very few advancement opportunities once you reach senior engineer. By policy they have to post all engineering positions above that but most of the time they know who they want already for that position so they are wasting everyone else's time. They are also restricted on how many positions of those above senior engineering they can have in every department.
