Opportunities exist, but layoffs and low morale persist
Pros
A lot of opportunities to get involved across the firm, flexible work locations and fun conventions/events at Deloitte University.
Cons
No full transparency from leadership, rolling rounds of layoffs, laying off senior team members, not great bonus amounts and annual raises did not stay in line with inflation rates. Very few opportunities to explore other roles across the firm - don't seem to recruit internally very much. You can apply for other internal jobs, reach out and network and it doesn't seem to get you anywhere. There doesn't seem to be any position below Partner/Principal that is safe from being laid off. It is turning into a numbers game, keeping profits high for Partners, instead of caring as much about the employee experience.
