Business Outlook
Pros
- Decent pay, but there is much higher salaries at other companies for the same work. Some projects can be much easier than others, and I've been blessed with easy projects. - I've had great project managers.
Cons
- Bad 401k match. And they only deposit at fiscal year end. - Fake corporate culture. - Lots of confusion around how to get promotions. Literally every consultant I've talked to has been surprised they are not promoted once or twice. Most requirements are hidden until it's too late, then you have to work another 1.5 years with the newly learned requirements because their schedule for fiscal vs performance year causes an offset of when you do work and when you're finally promoted for it.
