      Pros

      Everyone is excellent and there is an emphasis on quality the likes of which I have never seen before. This can be very daunting or the best development opportunity. The work is varied so that you gain expertise across a number of areas. This is underpinned by good training and knowledge sharing.

      Cons

      On challenging projects, work-life balance can go out the window. You may also be expected to travel a lot or be based away from home. However this is not true of every project.

      Great deal of training opportunities available For the most part, great attitude by colleagues High Learning Curve, which is a pro if it is what you are looking for Great benefits

      Cons

      Politics can differ from office to office. Since it is such a large firm, one must be aware home office is a good fit.

      Great Firm, Great People but Consulting is Hard

      1. Once you build equity & are recognized as a top performer, you are set 2. Good compensation 3. Job well done is usually recognized & appreciated

      Cons

      1. Need to be part of a "fiefdom" - very hard to survive if you arent part of a someone's group 2. Perception is everything. If you form the perception of being an average performer, its very hard to rebound from that 3. bonus way below market 4. too many "other" things to do - training, firm initiatives take away from family time
