      Reasonable benefits and flexibility Good training cirruculum Good client base

      Cons

      Many leaders do not walk the talk - speak of work-life balance, but do not reward or encourage it Focus on critiquing, not coaching Many leaders forget that they got help coming through the ranks, expecting those below to support them without reciprocating

      Good place to start begin a career. Some of management can have an attitude, but are fair in their evaluation.

      Pros

      Great place to work as an undergrad. Fellow colleagues are very stimulating and encouraging. The Deloitte way of carrying out projects is best in class and great to learn about. If one gets lucky to join international projects, work is very exciting and you get to travel and meet lots of great colleagues.

      Cons

      Work Life Balance can be in question when projects reach their critical phases. And ofcourse as a consulting house, travel can take up a good portion of one's time. Pays is just average and could be more like some of the major consulting houses. The ratio of new employees that start fresh as an analyst and stay on is very low. Local projects can be small and in far away places.

      Pros

      - Team culture in most projects - Smart people and most of them are friendly - Huge knowledge repository - ability to gain a lot of skills

      Cons

      - Some managers/ supervisors make your head spin. Its difficult to understand how they are doing well even though they treat people badly and unfairly - They talk about open exchange of information but they wont discuss things that are most important to people such as lay off timing, numbers and specific criteria etc. Great to be there in good years, may not be so good when times are tough - Crazy work hours at times. I guess thats one thing thats common in all Big 4.
