      Pros

      The name says it all. Having Deloitte on your resume is comparable to being in the big leagues for finance, accounting, and audit professionals. They have a ladder laid out for people to climb and do a good job with helping people achieve recognition in the work place. They understand most people are worked to the bone and offer as much as 6 weeks of vacation (especially in Europe) those who have earned it through title and time spent working for the company.

      Cons

      The days are so long that it affects the morale in the office easily. Communication amongst the group is encouraged but not well practiced. Deadlines are so tight that people barely have enough time to type more than one line in email. People who make good money on paper, are in fact probably getting paid less per hour than most folks in the 9-5 world. Management will vary per team, but usually females have to do a lot more to gain respect even if it means way more ass kissing than the men. Sometimes the quality / intelligence of the people are questionable and they prefer to be slaves to the system, than thinking outside of the box.
