      Good place right out of school but stifling for mid-career non-accountants

      Pros

      Flexibility in where you can live and a good set of benefits and reimbursements. If you like variety in where you work and what you work on, this is a good place to work.

      Cons

      Very, very poor mid-level management communication. Many Partners actively try not to work. It is almost a badge of honor for mid-level Partners to do nothing but go to meetings and review proposals. I observed very little support between Partners in seperate business lines and a few instances of open hostility. It often seemed like a shared business lead workshop with very little follow through and a lot of in-fighting.

      Pros

      Great work atmosphere and great people! There are a multitude of projects to work on and the culture supports your work ethic. Only the best are hired so there is always a challenge going between people. Feels like you are on an all-star team most of the time. The morale of most employees is good since many have diverse backgrounds and are open to communication. The work and life balance is alright, depends on your team really on how well it goes for you.

      Cons

      Too fast-paced for some people, and pressure can mount very quickly. Some employees are extremely uptight, but only some.

      Pros

      The pay scale is great. they are flexible with your work arrangement. If you want to move down to 80% full time employment - you can! You have any and all resources at your fingertips. The firm will back you in whatever endeavor you choose, so long as it furthers your career. Management is second to none, and is fully invested in your growth, both professionally and personally.

      Cons

      Long hours during busy season and management needs to work on being more transparent during promotion/evaluation process.
