      Pros

      Great graduate job. A perfect place to start a career; lots of training and support towards gaining a professional qualification (paid leave, study materials and tutorials). Good environment to pick up the basics. Young and lively people - plenty of opportunity to network.

      Cons

      Long hours, especially at lower grades. After 3/4 years career progesion is more about getting the support from the right people than about being good at your job. Too many people who don't want to get their hands dirty doing real work but want to take credit for the work you're doing.

      Pros

      Opportunities to do pretty much whatever you want in the world of Professional Services. If you prove yourself then you can get a lot of responsiblity in a lot of very interesting fields. This includes both exposure to different business sectors and different engagements including audit, IPOs and due diligences.

      Cons

      The firm is very stingy and likes to push off promotions as much as it can. Partners will give a lot of praise, as words are cheap but at the end of the day, are unwilling to out their hands in their pockets.
