      It's good on your resume wouldn't stay longer than 2 years

      Performance reviews are not true reflection of your work if you get a lead that doesn't understand your job. Heavy Indian culture which makes you feel like an outsider The give a lot of band aid solutions to things If you aren't on a project from July to Aug they fire you. It can be very hard to get on a project A lot of micromanage managers will walk around and see whose in the office. They also check your Skype to see you're active. During the pandemic they took their sweet time telling us we can work remote. They are definitely against working from home The company is ran by a bunch of people who do not like change. Work for the smaller boutiques firms if you can

      • Exposure to several clients/industries • Learning opportunities

      Cons

      • Pettiness all around, office politics. Your success depends on who you know (even if you suck at your job) • Sometimes it feels you do all this work for nothing. Are you really providing value to your clients? • Bunch of "work/life balance" talk, and no real delivery • Bunch of "diversity and inclusion" talks, but in reality Deloitte is NOT proactive. My local office (which is located in a very diverse area) was mainly composed of white people. All of the diversity initiatives started only after the BLM protests. • Senior management (think regional leaders and above) is so far removed from anything. And as mentioned previously in office politics, it all depends who you know at your local level.

      Pros

      Opportunity to work with leaders and learn strategies from them. Senior leadership has excellent business skills and client skills and in certain things you will not wonder about Deloitte being one of the Big 4's.

      Cons

      Misuse of Talent. With this model called PDM model employees are tagged to a specific project and that's all and the senior leadership forgets that you even exist on earth. Do not care about employees' career aspirations. Senior leadership will not even care to know who are the people supporting for their margins and successes. . All they want is to travel and party with the sweat and blood of the actual teams.
