Cons
A Big N for software development this is not. If you aren't aspiring to work for a tech company or don't care about surrounding yourself with tech focused coworkers, then Deloitte is fine. Although they are making strides to make it easier for developers, the company is still geared towards traditional business consultants so your ceiling isn't going to be that high. It's a large company with many different teams, so your mileage may vary, but I'd say unless you luck out, you might get stuck with antiquated tech and have little opportunity to grow either in the company or as a developer. Work/life balance is pretty poor as well, your are expected to work at least 45 hours a week.
