Intelligent, interesting people. Great place to work if you're willing to travel and work long hours occasionally.

Pros

Fast pace of learning, tons of options to leave when ready. Solid pay. Emphasis on work-life balance is finally making positive change. Really great people.

Cons

Long-term path to partner is extremely demanding (SM level), everything below can be tough but manageable - normal consulting hours.

Pros

Basically the headline explains it all. Working with Deloitte is about the people there. You get a bunch of like minded, clever but down to earth colleagues. Comparing it with other consultancies you will not find the high flyers but really intelligent, loyal and very friendly colleagues. You got a problem with a client => call A he might help; You need urgend help with a proposel => call B he knows best etc.

Cons

One of the major downsides at least on upper levels is the problem of further growth. Deloitte does not resemble the classical pyramid but has lots of Managers, Senior Managers and Partners limiting the growth. The compensation is mediocre at best (I will not complain compared to many other jobs but in comparison to other consultancies it fares worse).
