Pros

-Amazing people, and core values we abide by -Strong belief in our mission across all areas of the business - Life Coaches who work hard every day to help us personally and professionally -Personal Time provided exceeds anywhere I have ever worked and leadership encourages us to take time and get away from the office to have a healthy work-life balance -Executives make time to hear from EVERYONE in the company, not just management.

Cons

Delta is evolving to adjust for rapid growth. This can make clarity difficult and change is never easy for anyone. No company is perfect, and it's hard to call growth a "con" because it's crucial to success but it is the most difficult part at this time.

Pros

I have been with Delta Defense for over 7 years and sometimes feel like I am still in the honeymoon phase of a new job. I started entry-level in our Contact Center and through the company's supportive Leadership and focus on personal/professional development, I have held several positions across our Organization. Leadership truly fosters a growth mindset and we are provided with the tools, training, and resources to take on new challenges. A sign of a healthy culture is the ability for employees to question everything and that is encouraged here at Delta weekly. The Culture of Delta Defense is unmatched anywhere else. We are encouraged to be collaborative, supportive, and to have tough conversations. If I ever left Delta, I would be taking all of these skills/values with me to wherever I work next, I believe in them that much!

Cons

Of course, no company is perfect, and growth often comes with growing pains. Change happens frequently, and adaptability is key. However, if you're someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and values career progression, Delta will support you.

Pros

Delta Defense is a people-first employer. A core value at Delta is Healthy - not just physical but mental as well. There is a fully-stocked fitness center in the building that always has someone in it. Different groups are in there before sun rise and others after dark. There are 2 clinical therapists ON STAFF who have the job of working 1:1 with Delta employees to ensure they are healthy mentally as well! I have personally worked with one of them and can honestly say I am a different person because of it. Another pro to working at Delta is the focus they have on developing their people. One of the first things my then manager asked me in a 1:1 was to fill out an Individual Development Plan. part of that document had me already thinking about where in the company I wanted to go, what I needed to do to get there, and how my manager could help me achieve that goal. So many Delta employees started their career here in the call center, and are now enjoying positions as supervisors, , sales people, directors, and even regional managers! Another major pro of working for Delta is work life balance. I have worked a hybrid schedule the last two years. On a normal week, I worked from home on Mondays and Fridays, and worked from the office Tuesday through Thursday. The balance was great! I have 3 little kids at home and there have been days that I have to pivot and work from home a different day. My manager was always supportive!

Cons

The only con I can think of is that due to the size of Delta, many employees work fully remote so they don't get to embrace the culture as much as those of us lucky enough to work out of HQ.

Thank you for sharing your positive experience with us at Delta Defense! We're thrilled you find our commitment to core values, mainly focusing on the "H" for Health and personal development, so beneficial. It's fantastic that our fitness and mental health resources have impacted your well-being, and we're proud to support our team with these initiatives. We're also delighted you appreciate our emphasis on career growth and development. We know that growing our team members with promotions within our company is a testament to our focus on nurturing talent and fostering internal mobility. We strive to maintain flexibility for all our employees, understanding that life can be unpredictable. We appreciate your feedback about ensuring remote employees can engage with our culture at HQ. That. is why we are again bringing our Customer Engagement Team from all over the country back to West Bend for another year of ThriveCon in 2025. Thanks for your dedication to our mission!
