Pros

They have a great product and a great culture. The raw materials are there for significant growth.

Cons

No one in sales is making their number, which is translating to short sited decisions across the rest of the company. Some basic changes in marketing and partner strategy could make a huge difference, but the CEO seems unwilling to let that change happen.

* Superb technology * Generally friendly culture

Cons

* Missed the window - everyone (including IBM, MSFT and others) now offers a competing technology. * Customers are leaving * Compensation obtuse, below market and de-motivating. Comp plans regularly not distributed till mid-year. * Executive management never worked for a software company, does not know how to run one and it shows. * New, longed for, and admired CRO left in just three months.

There are Good people at the company who have talent. They could do more if allowed.

Cons

All is controlled by the CEO. VPs have no power. The company is very mismanaged at the top, now they will have layoffs because of their lack of responsibility.
