Pros

Global outlook, lots of cross-jurisdictional opportunities for work, have implemented a lot of positive work-related policies in the wake of COVID, good benefits, good opportunities to network across the firm, friendly approachable partners (MK TMT in particular)

Cons

work/life balance for juniors almost non-existent during the pandemic, requirement and expectation to always be available in some practice areas. In Scotland in some ways , this US-firm attitude of always being available and working "London hours" is expected on Scottish salaries. No firm-issued laptop for trainees - using Citrix is awful.
