I would love to speak with you about this. The job is listed as a sales manager trainee, which it is - a training position to learn how to sell and lead a sales team in the future. We do not hire assistant managers as we only promote from within from people that are in the sales trainee position. My phone number is 303-566-8172 if you would like to discuss this at any time. Disappointing that you would bring this up here when you had a full week in a meeting at a beautiful resort in which we discussed many areas of YOUR position as a sales leader that you failed to express this opinion in person.

Pros

The rigorous hiring process means you're only working with quality people. All levels of management make themselves available, so whether you need help with an unfamiliar situation or want some help improving in your job to boost your earning and promotion potential. We are given numerous tools to improve customer relations as well as product knowledge.

Cons

The work schedule is outside m-f and 9-5, though you still get 2 days off a week except under extenuating circumstances. You may need to give customers their products when warehouse personnel is unavailable though management has put in place policies to avoid this, so that warehouse personnel is available more often than not.

Pros

Great money for what you do. Positive work environment. As long as you do the right thing you will never have to worry about losing your job. Company does care about you and family. Great place to learn how to run a business. If your young and starting your sales career its a great opportunity.

Cons

Long hours. 11 everyday except for sunday is 6. Also HAVE to work weekends. Benefits arent the best. First year you get no vacation. Max at 15 days after 3 years. Loose promotions if you dont move asap, and if you pass on few...good luck getting another opportunity.
