Ridiculousness

Pros

Performance based salary. If you work hard, you are paid on what you accomplish. Good training and training pay during a six week period.

Cons

Ridiculous hours and mentality. Usually working 46+ hours a week, with unpaid errands on your days off that are not counted towards your hours. Desiring to raise a family and be with your family, especially on singular events like a birth, and asking off for that, is apparently not being a team player.

Thank you for your review. I would love the opportunity to speak with you personally about these issues. In terms of ridiculous hours, 46 hours per week is pretty standard for a position that averages over $50,000 per year, but most employees work between 40-45 hours per week. We also expect that you are able to complete your normal work duties within your scheduled hours, but if for any reason you need to complete a job duty outside of the scheduled hours, those should count in your reported work hours. In terms of time off with your family for events, we have many programs in place to make sure that you can attend such events. We firmly believe that your time is important, both in with your family and in what you are compensated for. Again, I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to hear your story and to make sure that our culture is being upheld in the stores. Please contact me or our National Sales Manager at 303-566-8172 at your earliest convenience.

Pros

-Great pay -Good, family-style environment -Good training and up's system -Ability to move up quickly -Lots of job stability -Learn great life and future job skills -They want you to look at the position as a career and not a job -They train you to keep you there -Only hire the best that apply, they hire great employees -Amazing upper, senior management

Cons

-Long retail hours -All commission, so your paycheck can fluctuate greatly (some amazing checks($2200+ in one week), others where you are making the minimum wage safety net pay) -No weekends off -Could have less paperwork hoops to jump through in addition to having to do all the sales-related tasks - Understaffed, due to making sure they pick quality employees and are nearly too selective

Pros

Most of the time it's a relaxed and nice environment to be around. The day usually goes by because you're working.

Cons

The managers don't give you your bonus and they try to make you do everything. They also get mad and tell the district managers if you miss ONE day. The managers talk behind your back. The don't clean up after themselves on your days off.
