Pros

Company benefits, coworkers, great products

Cons

Sales management is lacking in skill and very limited resources and flexibility within the company to try to help us achieve our targets. You’re also expected to always go above and beyond but the salary and weak commission structure doesn’t reflect this.

Toxic culture

Pros

Product allocation every 3 months $300

Cons

The leadership and culture are toxic. You are not encouraged to reach outside your department, challenge decisions or speak up. If you do, you are quickly shut down, isolated or performance managed. There is very little genuine investment in people, development or the brand, yet big results are still expected. Pay is poor, and asking for a pay increase is treated like a problem rather than a fair conversation. HR does not feel neutral or supportive. In my experience, they protect Sydney leadership, not employees. Redundancy also appears to be an easy option for the business to remove people when they no longer suit the direction or are no longer favoured. Overall, it is a disappointing culture where people are expected to perform but are not properly valued, supported or developed.
