Pros

Good playground for politics. Best place to work if you have network. Interns paradise. Tricks of trades are best learned here. Best place to work to get career lessons. People who are good at psychophant stays here long.

Cons

High tech innovative ideas/ambitions but low on output , Save ur neck attitude of management. Fruits(bonus) is shared at top at expense of engineers. Every team has at-least two scapegoats to hack at performance reviews. No work life balance.

Pros

I can't think of any......

Cons

I'm not sure if this is enough space but here it goes. This was the worst position I've ever had in my life!! It gets me worked up just thinking about it again. For starters let's recap the whole experience. When I began I spent about 2 weeks on the phone with tech support trying to get my computer working with all the necessary programs with no help from managers or colleagues. I was given the work of 3 people and when I spoke to management about reducing the load due to stress I was told to manage my time better. This comment sent me through the roof. Others on my team always got their one hour lunch and left right at 5. However, I was there many nights after 8p.m. with none of my colleagues around. When determining who should do what on the team someone made a comment about my salary that I was making "Big Bucks" and more senior people than me were overlooked in being assigned certain tasks. The salary wasn't much higher than my previous employer and I was actually making more money at my previous employer, but thought this would be a better opportunity but I was completely wrong. I felt like a fish out of water from day one and when I started getting the hang of things my tasks were increased substantially to make me fail.

Pros

Looks good on your resume.

Cons

Worst culture - very hierarchical, even if seniors know a lot less than the juniors, they will make sure to make the junior staff feel inferior and worthless. Unless you serve as a slave to the senior that works from home almost everyday while you work away 60+ hours a week doing admin work, you're not going to get anywhere. Overall, the bank is stuck 50 years behind. This is not a place for innovation, the recruitment team does a job making it look like a place of desire but do not be fooled. The infrastructure and technology is extremely outdated. The mindset of most senior staff is stuck in the 1950s. They make every effort to ensure not to promote women or minorities.
