Pros

- It can vary but hours are usually fair - Has still performed well despite the financial crisis - Decent benefits - There are some very capable people in the Org. - Attempts to embrace new ideas

Cons

- Hugely bureaucratic and complex organization to navigate, - Ineffective processes - A unpractical IT organization with too many layers - Far too many Program Managers not nearly enough people who do! - Outsourcing gone mad!

Globalization is bringing us down

Pros

Did well through the crisis, lots of money being poured into tech and electronic trading. Street recognition / reputation way up in last few years because of this effort.

Cons

We are taking globalization of support to ridiculous levels. Outsourcing critical tech jobs is materially hurting us. Seems to come and go as senior mgt changes. Current mgt outsources as an easy way to save money. Next mgt will see that it doesn't work and localized key teams. And the vicious cycle continues.
