Pros

There's always new work and initiatives to keep you busy; you will never be bored for long.

Cons

Promotion is very hard unless you are in the US or UK. There is a lot of cronyism. Financial governance is getting out of control, and it's becoming hard to even do simple things.

Pros

Big global bank; presence with clients is good; some good opportunities available; high aspirations

Cons

Highly political; Need to be connected to the right people or left behind (ie inconsistent application of performance expectations); Suffers from lack of confidence in own grown people and always seems to look outside instead of growing from within; very poor track record supporting women in front office positions

Pros

Open attitude towards trying out new tech, we had people using Scala, Clojure with senior management buy in. It's not true across other firms in the city

Cons

-Strong bureaucracy which hinders technology deliveries and wastes project team resources
