Pros
Enjoyable work with a very good work-life balance. There are appreciative managers who understand how to get the best from their directs. The bank looks to be progressively engaging in new technologies and pushing hard to maintain a lead with its banking platform. There appears to be global opportunities and good career development for those who seek it.
Cons
Slow to move in new directions. Focus towards reducing risk going forwards is often seen to be paralysing and (in some cases) appears to be reducing the motivation of (some) staff. A few too many clock-watchers and a few pieces of dead wood lying around the place, but generally these people don't seem to get in the way too often.
