Pros

They are hiring a lot of people in the North Carolina location. There are many opportunities to stand out because a lot of duplication and ineffeciency to stamp out. A slower pace compared to the tech industry and you are given time to learn on the job and slowly integrate into the culture. The people are very friendly and nice for most part, in a way find it refreshing compared to working at a tech company with less than adjusted geniuses.

Cons

Mediocre talent, usual bureaucracy of a large institution, not a very nimble org.

Pros

Good people, though i can't see people staying much longer in the current environment. Relatively good work life balance.

Cons

Compensation is substandard and has to be fought for tooth and nail. The compensation situation breeds an environment of resentment throughout the firm.
