      7 years as Java developer

      Pros

      - Every year I had salary increase, and 6 years out of 7 I had a promotion - Company allows you to change projects - Some projects has very cool and modern technology stack - A lot of internal educational courses, even for possible specialization changing - Company is very loyal to employees, during 7 years I remember only one fired colleague, but the reason was that he just disappeared for the week and refused to work

      Cons

      - Your project can be closed at any time (under 1 year, 2 years, 3 years), unless it is not very old legacy stuff - Deutsche Telekom does not react rapidly on market changes, so at some point you can salary which significantly below the market - It is big company, and there are a lot annoying standards, procedures and tens of internal systems, where you should be registered
