Great on paper... tough on your moral

Pros

Decent flex benefits, beautiful building.

Cons

Moral is painful. Reporting to an american side makes it a very difficult place to adjust to. As canadians, we have a different work culture that outperforms counterparts in the US without the use of fear or intimidation to manage people. (my way or the high way type attitude)

Pros

Company Culture is great. Devon treats employees independently; not over managed. You can work at Devon for pretty much forever.

Cons

Promotions are largely based on time with the company and not merit. Upward mobility typically is a result of someone else voluntarily leaving the company.
